Helisur Helicopters Accrued 160 Thousand Hours

Flight time of the helicopters operated by Helicopteros del Sur (Helisur) – UTair - Helicopter Services subsidiary in Peru – reached 160 000 hours. The Company has carried more than 1.2 million passengers and 775 thousand tons of goods starting from its foundation in 1994.
Helisur is airline No.1 in Peru and one of leading helicopter operators in South America. The Company performs 60% of aerial works in the country. The Company operates 12 Mi-17 aircraft of various modifications; its customers include largest companies of fuel and energy complex, mining industry and construction sector of Latin America. There is an aircraft maintenance and repair center certified by the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant operating at the main base of the company in Lima. Two line maintenance bases in Iquitos and Ayacucho provide maintenance of the helicopters engaged at main operating sites in the north and in the south of Peru.
