UTair - Helicopter Services received National Medical Aviation Award 'Golden Hour'. The prize was awarded on 22 November in Kazan as part of the XI Helicopter Forum held in the Republic of Tatarstan. The company was acknowledged the winner in Medical Aviation Company of the Year nomination for its advances in medical aviation achieved following the results of performance in 2017.
In 2017 helicopter operators of UTair Group performed the largest scope of medical aviation works: they ensured transportation of 5100 patients from remote settlements of Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district, Tyumen and Omsk regions, Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk territories, Republic of Khakassia. The flight time on medical tasks amounted to 6370 hours which is twice more as compared with the indicators of 2016. In 2018 the company continues its active participation in implementation of a priority state project. In January - October UTair Group aircraft crews delivered more than 4000 people to medical institutions, the flight time amounted to 4580 hours.

As part of aviation support of international peace-keeping missions UTair paramedics and crews provide first medical assistance to casualties and organize their evacuation to medical institutions. The company has been cooperating with the UN in medical evacuation since 2011. Throughout this period the company carried more than 1400 people.
