In accordance with Decree No. 400 of the President of the Russian Federation dated 28 August 2019, Vladimir Sindeev, Senior Pilot-Instructor of UTair — Helicopter Services, Deputy Chief Proficiency Training Unit, was awarded with title of the Honored Pilot of the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Sindeev is one of the most experienced pilots in Russian aviation, and has been working in Utair for more than 46 years. His accident-free flight time amounts to 15,000 hours. Mr. Sindeev has mastered operation of such helicopter types as Mi-2, Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV and Mi-26. Vladimir Sindeev took part in development and implementation of all applicable regulatory documents for training of flight staff on Mi-26, the largest transport helicopter.
All professional activity of Mr. Sindeev is related to performance of helicopter operations during development and exploration of oil and gas fields in Western Siberia. He took part in provision of aviation services for the United Nations many times.
Vladimir Sindeev made a great contribution to training of flight specialists, and certified more than 30 Mi-8 and Mi-26 Pilots-in-Command. Before working as a 1 class pilot, he went through all stages of a flight career: from helicopter Co-Pilot, PIC and Chief Air Squadron to Senior Pilot-Instructor of Utair.
