UTair - Helicopter Services operates UAVs manufactured by Geoscan and Zala Aero Group, two of the leading companies in the Russian drone market. The Company has entered into long-term contracts for oil and gas pipelines and power lines integrity monitoring with leading companies in the fuel and energy industry. Pursuant to the existing contracts UTair - Helicopter Services provides aerovisual support services to OJSC "Surgutneftegas", JSC "Tyumenenergo", etc.
Experience of unmanned aerial vehicles operation clearly demonstrates their efficiency in monitoring the integrity of line facilities, construction and production facilities, creating 3D-models of objects by means of high-precision survey. Usage of UAVs enabled us to address a range of other most important tasks requested by our Customers: to significantly decrease the time of response to abnormal situations, mitigate environmental risks, including in fire season. In addition, UAVs may identify unauthorized persons in restricted areas, monitor contractors performing pipeline transport overhaul operations.
In order to perform these functions the unmanned aerial vehicles are adjusted to flying in adverse weather conditions, equipped with photo and video cameras and thermal imaging devices. The received data is transmitted from the UAVs in real time, and recorded on a memory stick to be further provided to the Customer.
Owing to universal platform UAVs are easily adapted to specific missions: from delivery of goods weighing up to 1.5 kg to supporting geological survey and project operations in the field.
